François Fried is a Cybersecurity professional as well as SCI advocate. His involvement with Brooks began when he sustained a spinal cord injury resulting in paraplegia at the T7-T8 level in 2016 and received neuro rehabilitation at Brooks. Since 2016, François has continued to be involved by participating in several research studies as a participant and as a consultant with the University of Florida PHHP and Brooks Rehabilitation research collaboration. François has mentored individuals who have sustained spinal cord injuries throughout the nation as a certified Christopher Reeve Peer Mentor and continues to mentor those with injuries similar to his. François has also been involved in several public speaking events and conferences to share his experience of living with a spinal cord injury and has been a guest speaker for several Doctoral of Physical Therapy Programs including the University of Florida, the University of North Florida, and the University of St. Augustine.
